I bought a Kings 3x3 gazebo bundle yesterday via Click & Collect. Less than 24 hours later, a new promotion was released offering a larger 4.5m x 3m gazebo bundle for the exact same price. I understand that the gazebo has been opened and therefore cannot be returned. That was not what I asked. I was not asking for a refund. I asked whether an exchange given the timing, but was immediately told nothing could be done. The lady on the phone doesn't seem to care at all. No store credit adjustment , no goodwill gesture. Just zero price protection and poor post-purchase customer care, no price protection policy, and very customer-unfriendly promotion timing. Most reputable retailers offer some form of price protection for 7–14 days, especially when the change occurs within 24 hours. Felt being punished for buying early, and basically them saying “we got your money, now tough luck”. Definitely loss of trust. Sharing this so other customers are aware there is no post-purchase price or promotion protection, even within 24 hours.

⭐⭐ – Ongoing issues with support and follow-up Purchased gear from this store and am currently in the middle of an unresolved issue regarding a wiring loom. The process has been frustrating and has required more back-and-forth than it should for what is a fairly straightforward problem. Staff in store were polite, but follow-up and support have been lacking, which has dragged the issue out unnecessarily. When you’re spending money on touring and electrical gear, you expect clearer answers and better resolution. Plenty of stock on the floor, but customer support around faults and fixes really needs improvement.

The service and staff at this Kings store Dandenong are next level amazing and exactly how a business should be run. Many may consider the Kings products themselves to not be top of the range, but much of what I have bought from them from camping chairs to electrical has been very reliable. I did have one issue recently with a Kings portable 36 Ah li battery where it would not charge properly, took it back to Kings Dandenong, they put it on their charger and within ten seconds the lady said nup its not charging in their store and said it will be replaced with a brand new in the box unit no questions asked. I almost couldnt believe it as nearly every single place you take a faulty item back to says sorry but we have to send it off for testing to make sure it hasnt been used incorrectly or some excuse to stall the refund process or exchange the product. The staff are always helpful and knowledgable here, and while getting a replaced brand new battery unit i purchased the Kings 1300mm slide out kitchen drawer unit for a very reasonable price and am more than happy with its build quality and sliding mechanisms.
