We purchased a Kings rooftop tent and awning from the 4WD Supacentre Birtinya a week ago and had a really positive in-store experience at the time of purchase. The staff member who assisted us was knowledgeable and helpful, which gave us confidence in the product. On collection, however, the experience didn’t quite match the initial service. Although we were advised at the time of purchase that assistance would be available to help get the tent onto our roof rack, there was NO support offered on pickup, and we were advised rather abruptly that installation couldn’t be done in the car park. We proceeded to instal the tent at home, which took around eight hours between two grown men! Once completed, we discovered an essential component was missing — the awning should include FOUR spring pole brackets, however only THREE were supplied. In addition, we’ve encountered a couple of installation issues: • The internal awning support bracket standard screws do not align correctly, making installation difficult without further adjustment. • The installation diagram in the manual is completely different to the actual components supplied, which added confusion during an already time-consuming install. The product itself appears well made, and we’re confident these are oversights rather than major issues. We’d really appreciate a quick resolution by 4WD Supacentre supplying the missing bracket - which would allow us to complete the setup and fully enjoy the purchase. We would like to believe that our initial experience was not just an attempt to make a quick sale and meet a KPI - but rather that 4WD Supacentre appreciates a loyal customer base who would return time and time again….

If I could give zero stars I would! Stay clear of this place! it's nothing but a disappointment and headache. I purchased a 2000W inverter online, thinking the process would be easy. I took it home and had nothing but issues, the fan continuously comes on and the display shows that the temperature is 42 degrees and higher, despite it not being physically hot. I had only two computer monitors a laptop and a small fan running from it, which would not even come close to 2000W. I continued to trouble shoot by unplugging the display but the inverter fan continued to go off every 3 to 5 minutes. I called the 1800 and they told me to take it to the store or provide photos and videos of the issue, I thought it would be a much easier and faster resolution showing them in store. Once I arrived they told me they would keep it and run tests and provide results between 24-48 hours. 5 days and about 10 phone calls later, they had done tests and told me that it was not hot and that there was nothing wrong with it and that its normal for the fan to go off every 3 to 5 minutes, that the inverter was ready to be collected. I called one last time and asked to speak to a manager who basically told me in a very condescending way that there is nothing wrong with the inverter and that it's normal for a inverter fan to run all the time, even though I explained to her that I had previously ran the same system with a kings 1500W inverter, which did not do this. She then proceed to tell me that the item was ready for collection and I told her that there is no point in me picking it up when it wont work for my system and she told me that it would work with another system which is not helpful or what I bought it for. Then she said "I am hanging up now, since you refuse to pick it up, I will tell the store to keep it there" and then she hung up. I will not be returning to this store, they are by far the worse customer service I've experiences, they don't follow their return policy and I will make sure friends and family stay clear of this brand.

Shout out to Corey for his help today. Came to buy a swag bag, walked out with $550. How can one not take up the great deals that were offered today and Corey made the most of those deals for us by putting them into packages to get more bang for our buck. Thanks for your assistance Corey, great job

Absolutely a pleasure to deal with, happy to compromise and work out things, even with returns havent had an issue yet. Had one issue in the time I’ve been purchasing from them and they are happy to fix the issue without complaint. Had an order delivered to my ex husband and children in another state via online and deliver was much faster than anticipated. Click and collect options are easy and fast.
