I had an excellent experience with Tyler at 4WD Supacentre Newcastle - Heatherbrae. From start to finish, he provided outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. Tyler was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to explain the options available without any pressure. He also gave me a fantastic deal, making the whole purchase process easy and enjoyable. Had the most beautiful experience with the best worker there, Dalia. They have looked after both my partner and I twice now and have been absolutely amazing. We cannot fault the store's amazing service and range of products. We are most definitely loyal customers now!

Very disappointing experience with 4WD Supacentre. I returned an item that failed within the warranty period, however staff initially told us it was out of warranty, despite confirming only days earlier that it still had time remaining. The item was only replaced after we pushed back. What should have been a straightforward warranty claim turned into a drawn-out and frustrating process. The manager was also dismissive and came across as rude during the interaction. This isn’t the first issue I’ve had with product quality or after-sales support from this store. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong with your purchase, be prepared to have to push for a remedy rather than it being handled easily. If I didn’t know my legal rights, I doubt the outcome would have been the same, so make sure you understand your rights under consumer law before dealing with this store. I wouldn’t recommend this store. UPDATE This response is not accurate. We rang the store a few days prior and were told the item still had 5 days remaining on the warranty. It had not been 5 days since that call when we attended the store. However, we were then told in person that the item was out of warranty. This is clearly inconsistent. The replacement was provided only after we challenged it. Framing it now as a “gesture of goodwill” is misleading. This was not goodwill; it was a remedy to which we were entitled under the Australian Consumer Law. I have no issue with items being tested as part of a warranty process. However, in this case, the fault was straightforward, and the explanation that a full assessment could not be completed on the day does not reflect how the situation presented. The issue is the conflicting information provided and the need to push back to have consumer rights recognised. The interaction in the store, including the manager’s attitude, was also not acceptable. Based on my experience, I stand by my original review. If you shop here, be prepared to advocate for yourself to receive a fair outcome.

Went in this morning with the intention of picking up an order that was ready (which I did) but prior to that I decided to have a quick look at solar setups and see what was available for my requirements. A young bloke came over and offered me some advice (Michael I think he said his name was ?) and I must say he was quite pleasant to deal with and he bundled up a nice little package at a discounted price which I was happy with ! I’ve purchased kings gear before and never had any issues, hopefully this will all be worth it ? One thing I’m not happy about was he said the bundle would include a small torch but unfortunately that wasn’t included for some reason unbeknown to me. Maybe he forgot about it ? I should’ve checked more carefully, anyway feel free to mail me the torch if that’s possible please because I really would like that.

Very happy with my trip to the store with my 4 year-old daughter. Tiarney helped get the items I needed together and was very patient while my daughter wanted to look at all the different tents - plus my daughter was stoked to get a zooper dooper.
