With a specially programmed charge pattern specific to 12V Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries, plus the ability to easily switch to standard 12V lead acid, AGM, Gel or Calcium batteries with the press of a button, the Adventure Kings DCDC will work with just about any setup - and is easy to adapt to your future setups too!

The Kings DC Charger also has an automatic lithium ‘wake’ feature where it will attempt to wake up or ‘jump start’ a lithium battery where the BMS has disconnected due to low voltage.

BUILT IN MPPT SOLAR CONTROLLER

The Kings DCDC Charger has built in high-efficiency MPPT Solar Regulator that will track the maximum power point of a connected solar panel, so long as it has a minimum of 15W input. So you know you’re getting the most charge out of your panel no matter the conditions.

If, for example, you're driving at night and there is no solar input, the charger will pull only from your alternator.

When you stop at camp and turn off your vehicle, the DCDC will automatically swap over to solar charging.

If you're driving in the sun with both alternator and solar input, the DCDC will automatically prioritise solar input once it reaches the changeover threshold of 200W of solar power input.

Adventure Kings DCDC Chargers can output their stated 25 Amps of charge even in extremely hot ambient temperatures of up to 50°C and internal temperatures around 80°C. There’s an internal temperature sensor that monitors the circuit board and electronics to protect and regulate the output of the automatic 5-stage current derating - plus there's the 2m long temp sensor with ring terminal, designed to mount to your battery for highly accurate charge compensation.

PRE-TERMINATED WITH ALL THE ACCESSORIES YOU NEED

The Kings 25A Wiring Kit comes pre-terminated with 8mm ring terminals on one end to suit all sizes of Kings lithium and AGM batteries, and an in-line maxi blade fuse holder with two 35A fuses. The other end of the cable is pre-terminated with Anderson-style quick connect plug terminals, and in the kit you get two quick connect plugs, plus a second set of 8mm ring terminals and quick connect plug terminals.

HEAPS OF OPTIONS FOR ANY INSTALL

With six metres of twin-core 8AWG cabling, plus all those included fuses, terminals and more, you’re not just limited to one single install. One single kit is capable of running power from a starter battery to the input of a DCDC charger in the back of most vehicles, and then you can use the remaining cable and terminals to connect your DC charger’s output to your second battery! Or, use for powering a 12v Control Box, or running solar into your setup - the options are almost endless.

BUILT TOUGH FOR SOLAR… OR ANY 12V SETUP

Specifically designed for portable solar the 2.5mm2 copper cables minimise voltage drop. Of course each wire is individually insulated, plus there’s an extra 1mm thick PVC protective sheath that covers both cables. The sheath is heat and water resistant and offers extra abrasion resistance too – perfect for your next trip away or your next DIY project!
