I had to Work at Midland gate shopping centre to before I start driving on my holidays. Hoping my fridge in the back of Prado would keep going all day. 2pm just been up there to check. Been parked since 6am . I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked battery WOW my new solar blanket panels is working amazingly. 2nd Battery 🔋 is still Green 💚. Can't believe it. So fridge is still going properly. Yay

I agree with Rik's review that the quality of service has really improved since I started coming to this store. Whereas it once felt like you were imposing on staff by wanting to be served, nowadays the staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. I mostly shop by click and collect, and the pickup times (especially now that we are very close to Christmas) are very quick. Whatever change you made, great stuff. Keep it up

The shop itself is exceptionally well-presented with great displays, always a pleasure to browse. While a previous visit had some service and stock issues, I'm delighted to say that they have clearly made significant improvements. My recent visits have been a completely different and much more positive experience. The counter service is now attentive and efficient, with staff readily available and acknowledging customers promptly. It's clear they've addressed the previous delays, creating a much smoother checkout process. Furthermore, it appears their inventory management has vastly improved, as I've found items readily available and information regarding stock accurate. It's fantastic to see a business take feedback on board and implement such positive changes. I now highly recommend this shop for its excellent presentation, improved service, and reliable stock availability. Keep up the great work!

The store itself is clean, well laid out, and stocked properly — unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The customer service was absolutely shocking. The lady at the counter with tattoos and piercings with black hair and fake lashes was openly rude, dismissive, and acted like answering basic customer questions was a major inconvenience. No greeting, no eye contact, no effort — just attitude. Simple questions were met with blunt, unhelpful responses and visible annoyance. It genuinely felt like customers were a problem rather than the reason the business exists. After experiencing this firsthand, I now fully understand why there are so many negative reviews about customer service at this location. Management seriously needs to address this — either invest in proper customer service training or rethink who is placed in customer-facing roles. A tidy store is pointless if the staff drive customers away.

Anti-Consumer Traps and Hidden Policies – Avoid at all Costs! Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ "If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Kings 4WD Supacentre Midland is operating with some of the most anti-consumer 'policies' I have ever encountered. First off, be warned: they have a strict no-refund cash policy. If you buy something and it isn't right for your setup, don't expect your money back. Instead, they force you into an in-store credit that conveniently expires in 12 months. It’s essentially a way for them to keep your hard-earned money while putting a ticking clock on your ability to use it. The most deceptive part? There is zero visible notification in the store about this policy. You won’t find a sign at the counter or near the products warning you that your purchase is a one-way street. They wait until after you’ve paid to print the policy on the bottom of a receipt. Even then, the receipt doesn't give you the full story—it directs you to their website to actually understand the hoops you have to jump through. It feels like a deliberate 'trap' designed to catch people out. A reputable business should be transparent about its terms at the point of sale, not hide them behind a URL on a receipt you only see once the transaction is done. If you value your money and want a business that respects consumer transparency, go to literally any other 4WD shop in Midland. Kings might have cheap gear, but you’ll pay for it in the end with their predatory return games. Stay away." A Note on Your Rights (ACCC) While Australian Consumer Law allows stores to refuse a refund for a "change of mind," it is a grey area if they do not clearly display this policy before the sale. • Major Faults: If the product is faulty or doesn't do what it's supposed to, they must give you a refund in the original form of payment (cash/card). They cannot force you to take store credit for a faulty item. • Misleading Signs: If they have signs that say "No Refunds" without clarifying "for change of mind," they are actually breaking the law.
