Removes valve core for fast deflation - corrosion resistant solid brass threaded body, high accuracy integrated pressure gauge with rubber shock proof guard – comes with protective pouch!
Get further off-road and get off-road faster with the Kwiky Tyre Deflator. Rugged build means you can leave it in your 4WD for when you need it! The Kwiky is a Bourdon Tube type gauge, renowned for their accuracy and sensitivity to small pressure changes - perfect for your 4WD tyres, where even 1PSI can make a difference.
PRECISE – Bourdon Tube design uses solid brass, fully geared precision movement that is not affected by changes in temperature, humidity or altitude.
RUGGED – Built with corrosion resistant brass and stainless steel, wrapped in a shock-absorbing rubber housing
QUICK AND EASY – Simple mechanism removes tyre valve and allows for rapid deflation. Also easy to check pressure in one PSI increments during deflation, by operating slide.
HOW DO I USE THIS
The Kwiky Tyre Deflator works by removing the inner valve from your tyre and allowing the maximum amount of air to flow out. To use it, you simply screw it onto the valve, then twist the shaft anti-clockwise to remove the valve core. Then slide the collar in and out to regulate the air flow and check your tyre pressure as you go. Once you’ve dropped pressure to the correct amount, screw the shaft back in clockwise to screw the valve core back in and remove the whole kwiky.
WHY DO I NEED THIS
Deflating your tyres is important when you’re off road to maximise traction and minimise track damage. It’s most important on sharp rocks to allow the tyre to mould around the shapr points to prevent tyre damage, as well as on the beach or sand where deflating the tyres allows them to increase their surface area and spread your vehicle’s weight to stop from getting bogged.
HOW ACCURATE IS IT
The Kwiky Tyre Deflator uses a Bourdon tube to measure the tyre pressure. This is a highly accurate design that is not affected by changes in temperature, altitude or humidity. The Kwiky should be accurate to within +-2%.
